Questions

Does my PDF get uploaded?

No. Paradoc runs in this browser tab. The page loads its own code from paradoc.online, and then your PDF is read and written on your device, by PDFium, the engine behind Chrome's PDF viewer, built into WebAssembly. You can check: open your browser's network panel, and watch for a request carrying your file. There isn't one (the page only fetches its own code).

Can I split a PDF into several files at once?

Split pulls out one range at a time. Run it again for another range.

What happens to a password-protected PDF?

You enter the password once, and the new file keeps the original's protection.

Does the original file change?

No. Split makes a new PDF and leaves the original as it was.
